Backhand of God: Football legend Diego Maradona serves an ace with Sergio Aguero at Cheadle tennis club

Gym staff were left stunned when football legend Diego Maradona walked in ? and turned his ?Hand of God? to tennis.

Maradona and his City star son-in-law Sergio Aguero spent a couple of hours on court at David Lloyd in Cheadle. They mingled with members and visited the club shop so Maradona could buy some sweatbands.

And Maradona, 51, showed he?s a force to be reckoned with on the tennis court ? with club members saying they were more impressed by his skills than Aguero?s. Gareth Beard, sports manager at David Lloyd said: "We heard that Sergio might be bringing Maradona ? but none of us really believed it. It was just unbelievable when they walked in ? people were stunned.

"They played for over an hour and had a drink in the club room before they left. They were really nice."
