Important Steps For Optimizing Your Internet Business - ThemesPeak

As the Internet continues to grow, more entrepreneurs are finding new ways to earn money with online businesses. Starting a successful home business can be a daunting challenge that you may or may not be up to. Follow the advice in this article to increase the chances of success for your online business.

Purchase a domain name that includes your major keyword. Keep the name short and make sure it is relevant to your company. Register your domain name with a variety of online business directories and search engines. The major search engines include Google, Yahoo, Bing and Alta Vista. Google has a tool that can help you find an appropriate and available domain name and give you a list of keywords that may be effective for your business.

When you are designing your company website, keep search engine optimization techniques in mind. Use keywords in the HTML, titles and URL?s for your site. Each page can center on a different keyword and be used to rank in the search engines for that keyword. Avoid using any black hat SEO tactics that may end up getting your website penalized by the search engines. Keyword stuffing and link farming will earn you penalties. Links to and from relevant and well-respected websites will help web crawlers index your site for the various search engines.

The content of your website should be accurate and unique to your site. Writing the content yourself gives you control over all the articles. Write content specific to each page on your website and be sure to include keywords in a natural way. Change your content on a regular basis and make sure the information is up-to-date.

Make it convenient for your customers to make payments. A Paypal account is easy to set up and fairly inexpensive. Although many services are available, it is best to use a service that is well known and can be trusted by your customers. Internet shoppers need to know that their confidential information will be kept private.

You need to keep accurate records regarding business expenses, business income, the amount you have paid yourself and any loans to your business. This information will be necessary for your taxes. Keep customer information in a secure location on your computer and make sure to back up the information often. You can use customer e-mail addresses for an e-mail marketing campaign. Keep a record of how much each customer spends and what they purchase. Include tracking software on your website to keep track of your website?s traffic.

Periodically, you will need to analyze your marketing strategy and search engine optimization efforts. The rules change sometimes and technology continues to improve. Keep up with the latest technologies and news that may affect how you advertise and promote your online business.

Your Internet company can be a success if you use the proper techniques and offer high-quality products and services at a reasonable price. Use the strategies outlined in this article to start your home-based online business.

What green rust did to big blue ocean

A rare and highly reactive iron mineral called green rust appears to have played an important role in ancient oceans, suggest new findings, which may have implications for the formation of Earth?s early atmosphere.

The research team identified green rust in an Indonesian lake where conditions mimic those of the ancient oceans, and found the rust played an important role removing an important element, nickel, from the water.

If green rust accomplished something similar in ancient oceans, it could potentially have played an indirect role in the accumulation of oxygen in the atmosphere, a process that picked up speed about 2.3 billion years ago with the first great rise in atmospheric oxygen, called the Great Oxidation Event. The oxygenation of the atmosphere allowed more complex life, including humans, to evolve.

Science editor Alan Boyle's blog: Researchers find the weird shapes of the world's earliest-known baby animals preserved in rock on Newfoundland's coast, apparently thanks to a Pompeii-like volcanic blast.

"The link between green rust, nickel uptake and the oxygenation history of the planet requires further investigation, but our finding is a major step forward," study researcher Simon Poulton, a professor of biogeochemistry at Newcastle University in the United Kingdom, told LiveScience in an email.

Green rust, like the better-known, red-orange stuff, is an iron mineral, first identified only about a decade ago, according to Poulton.

Since then, green rust, which is indeed a pale green, has been found in only a few places, including water-logged soils, groundwater and, now, the oxygen-free water of Lake Matano in Indonesia. The deep waters of this ancient lake contain iron-rich and oxygen-free waters like those scientists believe filled Earth's deep oceans more than 580 million years ago. [ In Living Color: Gallery of Stunning Lakes ]

The discovery of green rust in the lake suggests this rare mineral may have been more common in Earth's ancient past, Poulton said.

Like other iron minerals, green rust readily absorbs dissolved elements onto its surface, but green rust is not only particularly efficient at this ? in many cases, it can also react with toxic dissolved trace metals to make them insoluble, and as a result, renders them in nontoxic forms. This is something most normal iron oxides cannot do, Poulton said.

In the modern world, some hope to use green rust to remove toxic metals and radioactive elements from the environment.

In the ancient oceans, green rust's ability to pull nickel out of the water would have been critical for some life forms, since nickel is an important nutrient for microbes that produce methane. Methane reacts with oxygen to produce carbon dioxide, so less nickel means less methane, which would mean oxygen could remain in the atmosphere and accumulate over time, Poulton explained.

The research has other implications for understanding the composition of ancient oceans. To understand the nutrient composition of the ancient oceans, it's important to know which iron minerals were around at the time. Iron minerals take up dissolved nutrients and carry them to the seafloor, where they eventually become preserved in rock. But because different iron minerals behave differently, scientists must know what iron minerals were present, according to Poulton.

In Lake Matano, they found that green rust played a dominant role in taking up nickel. In the future, Poulton hopes to look into green rust?s interactions with other nutrients.

The research is detailed in the July issue of the journal Geology.

The Secrets of Power Negotiating by Roger ... - Business Negotiation

6:00 AM By Article Directory

'; div.innerHTML = summary; } //]]> The Secrets of Power Negotiating by Roger Dawson The Secrets of Power Negotiating by Roger Dawson

Roger Dawson is known both as a motivational speaker, and as a real estate master. He has been a professional public speaker for almost 30 years. Before then, he was a real estate master and an employer of up to 540 people in 28 different offices at one point. Anyone that has bought a home, or a piece of property knows all to well that there is a tenuous negotiation process involved. Beyond real estate, it's mind boggling to think of the negotiations that we practice everyday, and we might not even realize it. Some people are very successful negotiators. These are the people who seem like they get everything that they want from life. Then again, there are those that seem like they can't catch a break in any area of their life. They might have poor relationships. They might not be advancing in their careers. Maybe they've bought the house of the vehicle for far more money that they could have. These are the people who need to learn negotiation skills. There is a book for people like these, or for people who want to take their negotiation skills up a few notches. That book is called The Secrets of Power Negotiating, by Roger Dawson.

In The Secrets Of Power Negotiating, the reader will be taught negotiating skills from every angle. Actually, there will be two main angles to focus on: your angle, and theirs. Roger Dawson want to leave the impression overall, that a successful negotiation happens when both parties walk away feeling like they've both gained something. It's always good when both parties leave the negotiation feeling satisfied. However, Roger Dawson goes in step further in the book The Secrets Of Power Negotiating, by teaching the reader to make the other person feel satisfied, even if the bargain isn't slanted in their favor, but in yours. When you can create negotiations that are slanted in your favor, or are largely in your favor without making enemies, then you know that you've mastered the process.

When it comes to corporate situations, The Secrets of Power Negotiating by Roger Dawson will help business owners to improve their profits, and to create leverage for themselves. It will teach managers on how to become the best leaders in the organization. But this book goes far beyond the boardroom. Again, it bears repeating the all humans negotiate in every area of their life, even if they don't realize that they are doing it. Even children negotiate with their parents, and with authority figures. To this end, the book will teach parents about how to guide their children, and how to raise their children in a way that is fair, but that establishes them as the authority figures in their child's life. Readers can learn how to gain things, such as lower retail prices on their purchases. But they will also learn how to make people feel good, and thus improve their social situations, and their social standing.

Roger Dawson has had many years in dealing with people, relating to people, and learning what makes people tick. He has mastered the tool and the tricks that allows people to get their way in life, and yet leave others feeling good about the experience. He doesn't want people to make others feel negatively manipulated or toxic. But he does teach in the book The Secrets Of Power Negotiating, about how to be shrewd, and how to get the benefits for yourself that life has to offer.

Report : 2011 a record year for Colorado travel | The Business Times

Article date: Jun 26 2012

Travel and tourism in Colorado accounted for 58 million visits and almost $10.8 billion in spending in 2011 in what was a record-breaking year for the state.

Colorado also enjoyed a record 14.3 million visits in the important marketable leisure trip segment, according to the latest results of an annual analysis.

?We were extremely excited about the 2011 report, particularly with the gains in the marketable leisure segment, which confirms we?re using our tourism funding effectively and with great success,? said Al White, director of the Colorado Tourism Office.

Longwoods International, a firm that specializes in tourism research, conducts the study for the Colorado Tourism Office and Visit Denver, a convention and visitors bureau.

According to the 2011 study, visitation in Colorado rose 1 percent to 57.9 million in Colorado. Total domestic spending rose 6 percent to $10.76 billion.

At the same time, visits in the marketable leisure trip segment? rose 4 percent to 14.3 million. The gain pushed Colorado into 16th place in a ranking of the 50 states based on marketable visits.

Spending on marketable leisure trips increased 5 percent to $5.3 billion. People on such trips spent on average $370 each over the course of their trips.

Marketable trips are those influenced by marketing efforts and exclude visits to friends or relatives as well as business travel. Marketable trips offer a measure of the results of advertising and other promotional efforts.

According to the analysis, 28.9 million overnight trips occurred in Colorado in 2011, about the same as 2010, but maintaining a record level. Overnight visitors spent a total of $9.4 billion in 2011, a 7 percent increase.

The number of day trips to and within the state increased 10 percent in 2011 to 28.9 million. People on day trips spent a total of $1.4 billion, up 4 percent from the year before. Colorado residents accounted for 83 percent of those on day trips and 80 percent of spending.

After setting a record in 2010, the number of people coming to Colorado to visit friends and relatives dropped 6 percent to 11 million. Still, those people spent 7 percent more ? a total of $3 billion.

Business travelers spent $1.1 billion in 2011, a 1 percent increase over 2010.

While the number of marketable overnight ski trips to Colorado dropped in 2011, the state continued to lead the market, garnering 18.6 percent of such trips in 2011.

Meanwhile, more people came to Colorado for other key segments of the travel industry, including tours, trips to resorts and special events.

Colorado maintained its ninth-place ranking nationwide as a destination for outdoor recreation with backpacking, hiking, camping and trips to national parks among the top activities.

Like Colorado, Denver experienced a record year for tourism in 2011.

According to the Longwoods International study, 13.2 million overnight visitors spent a total of $3.3 billion.

Those figures included a 17 percent jump in business travelers and a 4 percent increase in visitors on marketable leisure trips.

In addition to overnight visits, another 7.8 million day trips to Denver occurred in 2011, about 80 percent of those originating within Colorado.

Visitors on marketable trips to Denver spent an average of $114 a day, while business travelers spent $107 a day. By comparison, a visitor staying with friends or relatives spent $43 a day.

?We were particularly pleased to see that for the seventh straight year, Denver saw an increase in marketable visitors, which gave us a record-breaking tourism year,? said Richard Scharf, president and chief executive officer of Visit Denver.

Tito Lopez Challenges Rap Competitors To His Own Hunger Game

'I spit and I spit for real, so I wanted to bring that hunger aspect to it and that feeling like I gotta be #1,' MC says of The Hunger Game.
By Rob Markman, with reporting by James Lacsina

Headliner: Tito Lopez

Representing: Gulfport, Mississippi

Mixtape: The Hunger Game

Real Spit: Tito Lopez sure is confident; then again, if you could rap tightly packed bars like the Gulfport, Mississippi, MC, you would be too. On his latest mixtape, The Hunger Game,Tito puts all of his skill and confidence on full display.

"I named my mixtape The Hunger Game basically because if anybody knows me, they know I love movies," Tito told Mixtape Daily.

Lopez found a parallel in "The Hunger Games" film and the rap game where he hopes to one day be crowned a king. "If you never seen that movie these kids have to fight to the death, they're kids and it's really kind of messed up. They gotta fight 'till it's one winner and I feel like that's the competition aspect that's missing out of rap," he said.

On "Try Me," Tito invites all would-be detractors to the battlefield. "Feast on beats and pick my teeth, if you want some bitch come find me/ I'll make it hard for you to stand as a man, let alone stand by me, come try me," he spits to end his first verse.

Tito is currently a rap underdog, even though his talent has earned him a deal with Capitol Records. On "Mass Appeal 2.0" he proves his worth lyrically over a re-worked Gang Starr instrumental and then rhymes over another DJ Premier beat with his "Devil's Pie" freestyle. Both are winners.

With "Jessica," Tito shows that it isn't all slick metaphors and battle raps, as he weaves an intricate story rhyme about a high-school crush. His current single "Mama Proud" shows even more range; it's a heartfelt tune dedicated to his come-up in the game.

After listening to tracks like "Black Ice Freestyle," "They Told Me" and "Ventilation," it becomes increasingly difficult to deny Tito his place in the game. "I spit and I spit for real, so I wanted to bring that hunger aspect to it and that feeling like I gotta be #1," he said. "If I gotta knock cats out to be that, I will be that."

Joints to Check For

>> "They Told Me"— "It's like a triumphant type joint. I've made that just to basically let people know I've come along way."

>> "Jessica" — "This is one of my favorite joints period. I tell a story about a girl who she has low self-esteem, she made some bad choices, had a hard life and she don't have no self-respect or nothin' like that. Basically during the story, I'm trying to tell her to respect herself more, to make better choices."

Facebook prepping location-specific advertising for mobiles

15 hrs.

Facebook is on the verge of creating an?advertising scheme for the social network that relies on real-time location data from mobile phones. Such hyper-local data is extremely valuable to advertisers, who like to be as relevant as possible in order to maximize click and purchase rates. But the move may not be popular among the social network's users.

Facebook's vice president of global marketing solutions, Carolyn Everson,?told Bloomberg in an interview Monday:

Phones can be location-specific so you can start to imagine what the product evolution might look like over time, particularly for retailers.

With smartphones overtaking traditional phones and landlines as the primary mode of communication for millions all over the world, it's to Facebook's advantage both for social and advertising reasons to utilize features like GPS. The site already allows users to check in to locations and advertise their whereabouts to friends, but that data has not yet been used extensively for ad targeting purposes.

But Facebook has been testing just that thing over the last few months, Everson said, and the company is already in the middle of a serious advertising expansion following a lackluster IPO and questions regarding?their viability as a business.

Users may feel they are already tracked too closely by the services they use, but Facebook can at least make the case that localized offers are often far more relevant to users than ones based broader demographics like age or gender. Checking into a Starbucks, for example, might cause a coupon for half off another drink to show up next to your friends' status updates, or perhaps a similar offer from an adjacent business.

Many companies already specialize in this type of advertising, but Facebook's reach would be larger and their data richer, making their ad platform potentially extremely valuable.

One problem is that users have to opt into location-based services like check-ins and local news, and many are wary of taking this step. Facebook will have to work to make those services more enticing ? or less optional.

Violence spikes across southern Afghanistan

KABUL, Afghanistan (AP) ? Violence spiked in southern Afghanistan as militants stormed a NATO military base and attacked a police checkpoint Tuesday, a day after gunmen wearing police uniforms killed a U.S. soldier.

The heaviest fighting in Afghanistan this summer has been in the south and east where Afghan forces are increasingly taking charge of security from their international partners. That could signal a rocky transition as foreign combat troops are due to withdraw by the end of 2014.

Most of the attacks over the past two days occurred in the southern Kandahar province, the Taliban's birthplace.

Insurgents attacked a NATO base before dawn Tuesday in Kandahar's Shah Wali Kot district, but no service members were killed, the U.S.-led coalition said.

"Initial reports indicate that seven insurgents launched an attack on a NATO installation and initially were successful in breaching the outer security perimeter," NATO said in a statement. "Current reporting indicates all the attackers have been killed."

The Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack, saying it was targeting troop sleeping quarters.

Provincial government spokesman Javid Faisal said initial reporting indicated that at least one foreign worker was killed and two other foreigners were wounded, but the report could not be independently confirmed.

A few hours later, militants wearing Afghan police uniforms attacked a police checkpoint in Kandahar city. Three policemen were killed and nine others were wounded during an hour-long gun battle that ensued, according to the Ministry of Interior. Four militants also died.

The Taliban again claimed responsibility and said the clash lasted six hours.

The U.S. and other foreign troops have increasingly been targeted by Afghan security forces, or militants disguised in their uniforms.

On Monday, three gunmen dressed in Afghan police uniforms killed one American service member and wounded nine others in Kandahar's Zhari district, U.S. officials said, speaking on condition of anonymity because the attack was still under investigation. Faisal, the spokesman for Kandahar province, said the attackers fired a rocket-propelled grenade at the coalition forces and then fled the scene.

The Defense Department said U.S. Army Pfc. Jarrod Lallier, 20, of Spokane, Washington, died after his unit was attacked with small arms fire and grenades. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 508th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division from Fort Bragg, North Carolina.

Efforts to draw down the number of U.S. troops in Afghanistan rely on the Americans working closely with their Afghan partners to train and mentor them so that they can take over the security of their country. Such insider attacks fuel distrust between the two forces and have triggered increased security protections for the U.S. service members serving in Afghanistan.

It remains unclear whether the gunmen were actual members of the Afghan National Police or militants dressed in their uniforms.

The number of insider attacks in the country has escalated, with more than a dozen fatal assaults already this year that have led to more than 20 deaths.

Last year 21 fatal attacks killed 35 coalition service members, according to the coalition. That compares with 11 fatal attacks and 20 deaths the previous year. In 2007 and 2008 there were a combined total of four attacks and four deaths.

The increase accelerated after a series of mistakes and other behavioral problems by U.S. troops serving in Afghanistan, including the burning of Qurans and other religious materials earlier this year at a U.S. base north of Kabul.

Separately, the coalition said a NATO service member was killed Tuesday in an insurgent attack in southern Afghanistan. No other information was released so it was unclear whether the service member died in one of the attacks in Kandahar province or elsewhere in the south. So far this year, 200 NATO service members have been killed in Afghanistan.

In other violence Tuesday, gunmen assassinated two local government employees in the Chaparhar district of Nangarhar province in eastern Afghanistan, said the governor's spokesman, Ahmad Zia Abdulzai. The Taliban routinely target Afghan officials in an attempt to weaken the resolve of a government they say is collaborating with foreign occupiers.

Civilians also continued to be targeted.

A car hit a roadside bomb Monday in the Musa Qala district of southern Helmand province, killing eight civilians, including women and children, the governor's office said in a statement issued on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Afghan authorities announced that two men have been charged in connection with a Dec. 6 suicide bombing that killed 56 worshippers and wounded more than 160 others last year outside a Shiite shrine in Kabul. It was Afghanistan's first major sectarian assault since the fall of the Taliban regime more than a decade ago.

Officials with the Afghan intelligence service and Attorney General Mohammed Ishaq Aloko told reporters the two men confessed to transporting the suicide attacker from Peshawar, a city in northwest Pakistan, to the shrine in Kabul.

Lashkar-e-Jhangvi, a Pakistan-based group that has carried out other attacks against Shiite Muslims, claimed responsibility for the bombing.

The attorney general said the bombing was an attempt to create division between Afghan Sunni and Shiite Muslims. He alleged that the Pakistani intelligence service was involved in the attack during the period of Ashoura, which marks the seventh century death of Imam Hussein, a grandson of the Prophet Muhammad.

Pakistan has repeatedly denied Afghan officials' allegations that it facilitates attacks in Afghanistan.

One of the men, Rahim Gul from Bati Kot district of Nangarhar province, told officials on a taped confession that he transported the suicide bomber because he was poor and badly needed the 10,000 Pakistani rupees (about $106) the organizers of the plot had agreed to pay him. The second man charged, Habibullah, who uses only one name, is from Nangarhar's Surkh Rod district.

'Girls' Finale: Happily Ever After?

As the HBO series' first season comes to an end, we reflect on the girls' evolution.
By Amy Wilkinson

Lena Dunham in "Girls"
Photo:

One of our first glimpses of aspiring writer Hannah Horvath, the plucky protagonist of HBO's freshman series "Girls," was as she soaked in the bath, noshing on a cupcake as best friend and roommate Marnie shaved her legs and bemoaned her lackluster relationship with boyfriend Charlie. So it seems only fitting that our last look at Hannah during Sunday's season finale also involved a baked good and a body of water. But this time it was a solitary Hannah sitting on a Coney Island beach, finishing off a piece of tin-foil-wrapped wedding cake as she contemplated, well, what exactly, we don't know.

It was a season of highs and lows for each of the four females on "Girls," as a litany of breakups, make-ups, sexually-transmitted-disease diagnoses and employment snafus culminated in one girl's wedding, one girl's first time and one girl's heartbreak. Let's take a look at each character's evolution during season one.

Hannah
My chief complaint with Lena Dunham's Hannah as the series began was her incredible sense of entitlement: Her parents had been supporting her for the better part of two years as she toiled at an unpaid internship, and she expected nothing less from them. "I'm your only child, it's not like I'm draining your resources!" she huffed when mom and dad finally disavowed any financial responsibility for her. Yet it looked as though Hannah might redeem herself, landing a full-time gig after at least one incredibly awkward job interview (rape is never a work-appropriate topic of conversation, kids!). But it didn't last long as her boss was the grab-happy sort, and Hannah left, unsuccessfully trying to blackmail him for a sweet severance package on her way out. All of which left her Marnie's financial dependent — a status that ultimately ended their roommate relationship.

Hannah also struggled with relationships of the romantic variety, namely with wood-working actor Adam, who finally agreed to be her boyfriend. But Hannah got scared and messed that up, too.

For all intents and purposes, it seems our heroine grew the least of all the girls. But perhaps it's for the best, as there wouldn't be much of a show left if she had everything figured out.

Marnie
Marnie, too, grappled with unsuccessful relationships this season, though it may have been the one with herself that needed the most help. Marnie, played by Allison Williams, began the season with a long-term boyfriend whom she couldn't stand. "His touch now feels like a weird uncle putting his hand on my leg at Thanksgiving," she told Hannah. Charlie learned of Marnie's feelings the hard way, when the contents of Hannah's diary, in which she mused over the pair's dysfunctional relationship, became public knowledge. Thus, the two were done. Then they weren't. Then they were again. And as much as Marnie had outgrown Charlie, it didn't make their breakup any easier when he fell right back into a relationship only a couple weeks later.

Something changed in Marnie, and she decided to live her life more freely, which apparently meant making out with Jessa and engaging in almost-threesomes. She also finally came to terms with how much of a mooch (both emotionally and financially) Hannah had become and moved out of their apartment and, temporarily, into Shoshanna's. Having no plans would be good for her, she said. Marnie's newfound whimsy even inspired her to make out with guest star Bobby Moynihan.

Jessa
Then there's free spirit Jessa, played by Jemima Kirke. She blew into town at the series' onset, seemingly just stopping over until her next adventure pearl-shucking or climbing the Himalayas or meditating at an ashram. But she moved in with cousin Shoshanna and started a life for herself, taking a job babysitting two precocious Manhattan tykes — a situation that quickly got messy when the father made a pass at her during the most epic Bushwick warehouse party of the year. His impressively calm wife later asked Jessa to come back to the children, all the while knowing very well she couldn't. But her maternal instincts didn't flag, and she gave Jessa a piece of parting advice: "You're getting into dramas to distract from who you want to be."

The wisdom apparently cut Jessa deep, because as we saw during Sunday night's finale, she decided who she wanted to be, and that was a wife.

In a surprise ceremony, she wed Thomas-John, the guy who thought he was going to have a three-way with Jessa and Marnie. Will the spur-of-the-moment marriage last? We'll have to wait for season two to find out.

Shoshanna
Finally, lest we forget, is Shoshanna, the most underutilized yet arguably most interesting character on "Girls." Unfortunately, her entire plot arc revolved around losing her virginity — something she finally did during "She Did." She'd come close before with a former fellow camper, but he didn't want the responsibility of taking her V-card, even if she was "the least virginy virgin ever." In the end, it was her crack spiritual guide Ray who was her first, and we can only hope he didn't get in her emotional way. If there's one thing season two could use more of, it's the wonderfully adept Zosia Mamet.

What did you think of Sunday night's "Girls" finale? Sound off in the comments below!

Baby Pushchairs: Being Prepared

Baby pushchairs are among the things that should be prepared before the baby arrives. Expectant parents only want the best for their baby and they buy things with careful consideration. Pushchairs can give comfort for both parent and child. You can bring your baby with you the whole day without tiring your arms because all you have to do is push your baby around. However, when buying these pushchairs, it is best to have a list of requirements that you want for a pushchair. That way, you will not be overwhelmed with the various designs of pushchairs that you will see in the store.

?

It is given that safety is always the top priority when it comes to buying baby things. One thing to check for in a pushchair is the safety harness. This is useful and must always be present so that one can strap the baby into safety.

Without this, your baby is in a great risk of getting hurt. If in case you are going out at night for walks in the park, a pushchair that has a reflector can be very useful.

?

Unexpected showers happen when you are out walking and enjoying time with your baby. Some pushchairs have shower proof hoods that can be useful in case it rains while you are out. This will keep your baby dry.

?

Being with your baby requires you to bring baby things ? the very important baby bag. The problem is that it can be stressful to be carrying a bag and pushing a stroller at the same time. You do not have a free hand in case you need to do something. Pushchairs that provide extra storage space are helpful in keeping the parent more comfortable during walks outside.

?

There are baby pushchairs that feature fully rotational wheels. This can be very easy to manoeuvre and move around as compared to those who do not have this feature. Since there are pushchairs that are built with this design, you may want to choose it for ease of use.

?

The pushchair of your choice will depend on the various factors that you have. Your current lifestyle, your travels, and the places that you will often go to. The age of the child is also an important thing to consider.

?

Setting aside a budget is a good thing to do. This will prevent you from overspending. By working with the budget that you set aside for the baby pushchair, you will be able to get the best for your baby. It does not necessarily mean that only the expensive baby pushchairs are the good ones in the market. The brand marketing that they spend makes it more expensive. Lesser known brands can also have the same good quality as the expensive ones.

?

Always research on the baby pushchair that you wish to buy. There are various internet sites that provide reviews to guide you in your purchase. With the various designs and choices that you can see in stores, it is normal to get confused. But with the list of requirements and criteria that you have, you can narrow down the best stroller to get for your baby.

Analysis: Obama takes a risk on immigration front

WASHINGTON (AP) ? There's not much President Barack Obama can do to boost the economy in the next five months, and that alone might cost him the November election. But on a range of social issues, Obama is bypassing Congress and aggressively using his executive powers to make it easier for gays to marry, women to obtain birth control, and, now, young illegal immigrants to avoid deportation.

It's a political gamble that might fire up conservatives, many of whom remain cool to Republican candidate Mitt Romney. Democrats think it's more likely to inspire enthusiasm among groups that were crucial to Obama's 2008 victory ? young voters, women and Hispanics.

In relatively good times, a first-term president's wide array of powers can force his challenger to shift from issue to issue, hoping to find a gap in the incumbent's armor. This year, that scenario is practically turned on its head.

Romney is the play-it-safe candidate, rarely straying from his jobs-and-economy talking points and sharply limiting encounters with national reporters. Romney took six hours Friday to offer a short and carefully worded comment that criticized Obama's new immigration policy for not providing "a long-term solution."

Romney didn't say whether he would overturn it if elected. But by noting "it can be reversed by subsequent presidents," he might have sown doubts in the minds of some young illegal immigrants studying the policy.

Obama looks like the bigger risk-taker. He doesn't have many options.

He is constrained by a complex, interrelated and frail global economy, and by a Republican-run House. Together, they severely limit his ability to influence the struggling U.S. economy, which Obama says needs more investments in education, renewable energy sources and other areas.

With a single action, however, Obama can allow gays and lesbians to serve openly in the military; direct Catholic-affiliated employer insurance plans to cover contraceptives; and protect hundreds of thousands of young illegal immigrants from being deported.

Obama took that last step Friday. It delighted many Hispanic groups while prompting Republican officials to grouse more about the process he used than the actual policy.

Democrats enjoy a hefty edge among Hispanic voters, and some GOP strategists fear Romney is widening the gap.

In the primaries, Romney criticized one rival, Texas Gov. Rick Perry, for granting in-state college tuition to illegal immigrants. The former Massachusetts governor also distanced himself from opponent Newt Gingrich's call for making it clear the United States will not deport illegal immigrants who have led stable, crime-free lives in the United States for many years.

"This is the right thing to do," Obama said in the Rose Garden as he outlined the new policy Friday.

Sidestepping Congress, where immigration proposals have languished for years, Obama acted to make illegal immigrants immune from deportation if they were brought to the U.S. before they turned 16 and are younger than 30, have been in the country for at least five continuous years, have no criminal history, graduated from a U.S. high school or earned a GED diploma or certificate, or served in the military.

Millions of people in the United States, especially younger voters, rallied to Obama's 2008 campaign because they saw it as a barrier-breaking crusade giving voice to those weary of the Iraq war and falling economic opportunities. Democratic strategists hope to reignite some of that enthusiasm this year.

With significant economic gains so hard to achieve, a possible route is to be seen as expanding or protecting the rights of gays and lesbians, young Hispanics and young women.

Obama ended the military's "don't ask, don't tell" policy in 2010. He won more praise from gay activists last month when he embraced same-sex marriage, even if the move was largely symbolic. The bigger legal step was his 2011 decision not to enforce a federal law defining marriage as between a man and a woman.

Some Republicans denounced Obama's deportation decision as pandering. It's "patently political and self-serving," and will do nothing to change the fact that jobs and the economy will determine the Nov. 6 election, said GOP strategist Danny Diaz.

But Congress's Republican leaders were silent on the matter. Republicans know that Hispanic voters are crucial in Florida, Nevada and Colorado, and could make the difference in tight elections in Virginia and North Carolina.

Many Democrats hailed Obama's move. "It's the right thing to do for the country, and the right thing to do politically," said veteran strategist Matt Bennett." If Republicans directly challenge the decision, he said, it puts them "in the position of saying we should be attacking, legally, innocent children who did nothing wrong."

Republican consultant Mike McKenna said Obama's advisers "have obviously made a decision that they are going to win this election by energizing the base. Between this decision and the gay marriage emphasis, they have doubled down on their core and moved away from where most registered voters are."

McKenna said the strategy might inspire activists on both the left and right to turn out to vote.

But Democratic campaign veteran Doug Thornell sees more gains than risks in Obama's immigration decision.

"The Republican base is pretty inspired to beat Obama already," Thornell said. For persuadable voters, he said, "this is in keeping with a president who does big and bold things." Romney, he said, is "pretty vanilla."

If the economy were humming, Obama might not need to do big and bold things. But a national unemployment rate of 8.2 percent forces him to take some chances.

That's what he did Friday and briefly stole attention from the start of Romney's five-day bus tour, whose theme is clear: jobs, jobs, jobs.
