Registrations are now being accepted for the Queen Creek?s Little Athletes 2013 Winter Season. Two evening sessions will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays, Jan. 7- Feb. 20. Class roster is limited to 12 participants per class. Registration is accepted at QueenCreek.org or at the Library Recreation Annex, 21802 S. Ellsworth Road. Fees are $80 for residents and $90 for non-residents. Non-resident registration begins Nov. 12.

This six week program offers children ages 4?6 the basics of soccer, T-ball and basketball through an interactive approach to create a positive athletic experience. Sports exercises, drills, and games will be taught in a noncompetitive, fun atmosphere.

Participants are encouraged to bring bottled water. Whenever sessions are held outside, participants are also encouraged to bring comfortable apparel suitable for the current weather. Although equipment such as soccer balls, gloves and basketballs will be provided, participants are highly encouraged to bring their own for better size/fit. Open-toe shoes and metal cleats are not allowed.
